Role
Tim leads the clerking team and is responsible for ensuring high standards of service and efficient administration is upheld across all of Chambers.
He works closely with the Joint Heads of Chambers and Management Committee on the strategic planning and implementation of Chambers plans for growth. Tim coordinates and plans St. Mary's business development activities.
Background
Tim has nearly 15 years’ experience in clerking, having started out with St. Mary’s as an office assistant.
Tim climbed the clerking ladder at St. Mary’s before moving on to further his development at another chambers and then on to clerk an in-house team of barristers and advocates at a national law firm. Tim returned to St. Mary's in 2019 as a Practice Director and was appointed as Senior Clerk in June 2024.
