Role
Kamla provides support and assistance to the Chief Executive in the overarching purpose of maintaining and enhancing our reputation as one of the leading family law sets in England.
The main focus of Kamla's role is overseeing day to day diary management and resolving any issues that occur due to overrunning cases or late listing changes. She also oversees the agreeing of fees for privately funded clients.
Kamla manages the clerking team and works with them to ensure we provide high levels of front line services to our clients.
Background
Kamla has 20 years’ experience in clerking and has been with St Mary's for over 10 years.
Prior to joining St. Mary’s Chambers, she graduated in Business and Information Technology after studying at Coventry University and spent eight years clerking at No. 5 Chambers in Birmingham.
