14 October 2026 HB NB New tenants

We are delighted to announce that Hannah Bramley and Nussrat Bashir will be joining St. Mary’s as tenants on 16th November 2026.

Hannah was called to the Bar in 2017, after many years practicing as a solicitor prior to transferring to the Bar. Hannah has extensive experience in children proceedings in both Public Law & Private Law Children cases. Hannah is regularly instructed in complex proceedings, representing parents, Guardians and Local Authorities, as well as other family members and older children directly. Hannah is also experienced in Court of Protection and Deprivation of Liberty cases.

Nussrat transferred to the Bar in 2022, having practiced for over 20 years predominantly in children proceedings since 2004 both in-house at a Local Authority and then latterly as a Senior Associate in private practice. Nussrat regularly represents the Local Authorities, parents, Guardians and other relatives in both Public Law Children and Private Law Children cases, as well as in Deprivation of Liberty cases & Forced Marriage Protection Orders.

All of us at St. Mary’s look forward to welcoming Hannah & Nussrat to Chambers later this year and adding to our talented Public Law and Private Law Children teams.
