Judicial Appointments
The Lord Chief Justice has appointed Claire Howell and Matthew O'Grady as Deputy District Judges.
We are all delighted at the announcement and offer our warmest congratulations to them.
Claire is a specialist in public law proceedings representing local authorities, parents, intervenors and children in complex cases.
Matthew practices in financial remedy proceedings and can be instructed as a neutral evaluator for private FDRs.
They will begin sitting part-time on the Midland Circuit later this year, and will continue to practise from St. Mary's Chambers.
