Helen practices in Public Law children matters and is experienced in representing local authorities, parents, children and extended family members across the range of issues arising in public law proceedings.
Helen was called to the Bar in 2002, prior to that she was a social worker for 12 years and a trade union officer for 4 years. Helen is adept at designing and delivering training for solicitors, barristers, and social workers. She is experienced in delivering advocacy training for lawyers, seminars on recent developments in the law, and court skills for social workers.
