Overview

Eleanor has a busy practice and accepts instructions across all of Chambers’ practice areas, including Private and Public Law Children matters, Financial Remedies, and Family Law Act proceedings.

Eleanor is committed to providing the highest standard of representation, consistently going above and beyond for her clients. She is well-organised and prepares cases with meticulous attention to detail. Eleanor has experience working with vulnerable clients and is recognised for her excellent client-care skills, giving practical advice and ensuring that those she represents feel supported and heard throughout proceedings. In court, she is a robust and persuasive advocate, combining thorough preparation with confident and authoritative presentation of her clients’ cases.

Eleanor became a tenant after successfully completing her pupillage under the supervision of Joshua Hazelwood, Sara Davis, and Charlie Fikry. During her legal studies, Eleanor was awarded a Benefactors’ Scholarship from the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple for her Graduate Diploma in Law and Bar Practice Course studies. She also received the Gateley Award for Excellence on her postgraduate conversion course at the University of Law.

Before coming to the Bar, Eleanor trained as a classical singer at the Royal Northern College of Music and subsequently worked for a charity that supports autistic children, young people, and their families.

Eleanor has undertaken pro-bono work for Advocate, most recently providing an advice on the prospects of success of a set-aside application in a Financial Remedies case. She also regularly contributes to Chambers’ Case Law updates.
