Overview

Claire has a busy practice and accepts instructions in Children Act and Family Law Act proceedings.

Claire has experience in representing professional and lay clients at all stages in proceedings from initial hearings to fact finds and final hearings.

Claire is recognised for her professionalism and thorough preparation. She also has a particularly compassionate approach towards clients whilst still being able to give robust practical advice. Claire has an ability to put clients at ease quickly and is a reassuring presence both outside and inside of the courtroom.

In 2023 Claire completed the ICCA, FLBA and Advocacy and the Vulnerable training.

Claire was called to the Bar in 2013 and completed a family and civil pupillage at KCH Garden Square in 2020, before joining St. Mary's Chambers in July 2024.

Prior to completing pupillage, Claire worked as a legal practitioner at a Local Authority which allowed her to gain invaluable experience of care proceedings, pre and post issuing. Prior to that, Claire worked as a paralegal, and later as an advocate for LPC Law.
