Overview
Ben completed a Master's degree in Law before joining HMCTS as a Legal Adviser. He then went on to qualify as a solicitor and worked for a specialist family law firm for a number of years where he was a member of the Law Society's Children Panel.
Ben joined Derwent Chambers in 2017 and practiced as a specialist public law children barrister before joining St. Mary's in 2024.

Ben specialises in public law proceedings representing Local Authorities, children and parents at all stages of proceedings. He is often instructed in complex cases involving non-accidental injury, international elements and wardship.
